What’s for breakfast when you are gluten free? Our house has been gf for over a decade, and while being gf isn’t as hard as one often thinks, it’s definitely not as easy as a box of cereal and jug of milk. Until maybe today…….sooooo easy.

Everyone around here loves quinoa…mixed in with the main dish or as a side dish for dinner, in a salad or as the salad, it’s around all the time. Now we are bouncing it around the breakfast table too. It’s faster than many hot cereals to cook and it’s fluffy goodness should make anyone happy What’s not to love?

Simple Breakfast Quinoa

  • 2c quinoa (I usually make 2 cups for a family of 5)
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • frozen wild blueberries
  • fresh strawberries
  • raw cream
  • raw honey
  • pastured butter
  • Prepare 2 cups quinoa per package instructions

As water starts to cook down and quinoa soften, add vanilla and stir in well. Top with butter, blueberries, strawberries, cream and honey.
